It is that time again folks! Not so deep thought of the day: do you save the innards from pumpkin carving and sort the seeds out to make your own roasted/toasted/flavored pumpkin seeds (or pepitas as I like to call them)? If so what flavors do you like? DO you have a special technique or method to make it less messy and more tasty?
For myself I like plain old salt and pepper, with a dash of cayenne!
Off to carve my pumpkin tomorrow and am getting excited about making pepitas for snacking during my Sunday Crafternoon delight with M :-) It's decorative gourd season MFs!
