Wednesday sans WIP

Hey everyone! Sorry it has been so quiet over here... I had been crafting and baking up a storm in the 'ham before heading back home to CA for the holidays! I have lots of crafty posts but they have to wait for Christmas to be over :-) Also I appear to have misplaced my camera cord thingy to transfer pics to my comp. I know - major Kim FAIL. Pardon the crappy phone pics.

I made it into LAX at about midnight last night and after about 5 hours of sleep I woke up and hit the ground running. I may be quiet while I am out here - I have no fabrics and no sewing machine, and failed to bring an extra skein of yarn for my Honey Cowl so little to no crafting. In the mean time here is some info about what crazy occurred in my apartment:

16 hours straight of baking - molasses cookiessugar cookiescranberry oatmeal cookies (I added white chocolate chips), and vegan snickerdoodles

pouch-a-palooza using this tutorial - I think I made 16? a little differently - but we will get to that later!

and fabric disasters - eeee gads people!

holy crap
sugar cookie time
this is what the ornaments started to look like
And lastly I would love to say THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! to Marika over at Live.Laugh.Love.Sew for a beautiful pouch and loverly fabrics inside! A while back she had hosted a giveaway for her 100th post and I won! So crazy... I was reading all my blogs and Marika's came up on my reader and then I saw my name and took a second take about 5 times when I read my name. I am the fortunate recipient of this pouch and I could not love it anymore than I do. It is my first happy mail from another blogger and will always be treasured. Thank you thank you thank you Marika!

Ok peeps headed back to vacay with the fam - I hope you are all enjoying this holiday season as much as I am!

ciao bellas!
