WIPping at a slow pace...

Hi everyone! Linking up to Lee's over at Freshly Pieced for another edition of WIP Wednesday. Make sure to check out everyone else's goods!

WIP Wednesday at Freshly Pieced

So where the hell am I on my 100 Day Hustle list you ask? Well like everyone else's, I am sure, it has evolved into a monster! Let's check in...

DONE
4. Baby hats - here and here
5. October Nubees - one of them
6. I would like to make a tutorial

NO PROGRESS
3. Double wedding ring quilt (DWR) - eeee gads NO PROGRESS
7. Finish Nubees quilt - still waiting on one block!

PROGRESS!!!
8. Christmas Ornaments - 1/2 WAY - yesterday I wrote a sob story post asking for some helpful ideas and got great feedback from you all! I started last night but failed to take a picture. I will hopefully have a finished product by this weekend to show. Thanks again to all of you!

9. Quilted Wine totes - this has morphed into pouches - all fabrics are picked out - just need to make!

10. M's holiday delight - have supplies :-) clearly you see why I can;t tell you about this one until after she opens it!

11. Family Christmas quilts - This has been my major headway. I have both quilts finished but the binding. Sorry about the crappy pictures - I have misplaced my camera battery charger again!

This first one is the girly one - fabric is a jelly roll of California Girl by Fig Tree Quilts sashed with Kona Snow. The back is Flower fields from Joel Dewberry's Modern Meadow. I used the strip 'n flip tutorial from Allison at Cluck Cluck Sew.

Next is boy one. I got a jelly roll of Seven Wonders by Parson Gray and used some navy solid from Connecting Threads for the front. The back is left over jelly roll bits with Canyon Stripe from DS's Hope Valley. I have seen patterns similar but just did some math to get this one done.

Boy back
back post quilting!
12. Best friend's birthday pillow - this has become a mini quilt - needs binding! Decided to do some EPP for the first time and make it into a pillow for a friend. Did the EPP, but it isn't a pillow. I am turning it into a mini for myself and now need to make her a pillow. HA. I entered it in the Travelling pic stitch blog hop, which you can check out the winners here, and all the other awesome entries here!

Some hand stitching
almost done, just needs a binding!
14. Table runner for MIL - I decided to make MO's mom and dad (let's be honest only she will like it) a holiday table runner using this tutorial by May Chappell. And of course I ruined the measurements but I like how it is turning out. I actually only need a binding on it, but the last picture I have is of a beginning stage.

PHEW! So a lot has been going on but everything is in bits and pieces and it looks like a craft monster vomited all over my house. Thank god MO is out of town! I hope to have some big finishes by this weekend. I kind of have to because I take off to CA a week from today!!! SO EXCITED!!! I miss my family :-( And it looks like although I won't finish my Hustle list - I will have come damn near close!

Happy WIPing crafty peeps! Off to bind like an MF.

  6. I love this list. I totally need to organize a list for myself, I am the worst at starting a project and getting distracted by some shiny new project. I am impressed with your productivity and I am sending you good vibes on getting as much of it done as possible! Good Luck!
